Description

Doxylamine Succinate, Pyridoxine Hydrochloride, and Folic Acid Tablets contain Doxylamine Succinate, Pyridoxine HCL, and Folic acid. Doxylamine is an antihistamine that blocks the histamine (natural chemical) in the human body, thereby preventing conditions like nausea and vomiting. Pyridoxine Hydrochloride is also known as vitamin B6, and its deficiency can lead to nausea and vomiting. It restores the levels of vitamin B6 in the human body and treats nausea and vomiting in women during pregnancy. Folic acid is also a vitamin B form, which can provide the required nutrients during pregnancy times.

Uses of Doxylamine Succinate, Pyridoxine Hydrochloride, and Folic Acid Tablets

Doxylamine Succinate, Pyridoxine Hydrochloride, and Folic Acid Tablets fall under the category of medications known as ‘anti-emetics’ that are used to cure nausea (feeling sick) and vomiting at the time of pregnancy. Feeling Morning sickness (nausea and vomiting) during pregnancy is a common side effect of pregnancy. It usually begins after or in the 6th week of pregnancy and lasts up to 17 to 18 weeks.
